Pattern Name Ashford 16" Rigid Heddle Loom Kit - Boucle Scarf
Designer Ashford
Yarn Ashford Merino Boucle Yarn // White 1 skein // some left over
Reed 5 dpi 16" Rigid Heddle Loom

NOTES

Ashford 16” Sample It Loom Construction + Kit Notes:

  • Definitely recommend buying the Ashford Wax, also recommend waxing before assembly and allowing time for the wax to seep into the wood (over night or for a couple of days) before assembly

  • For Boucle Kit - you will need to measure out the warp length to 98.25” and not 78” to get the appropriate length

RESOURCES

Final Thoughts

  1. Don’t skip the wax or the finishing of the wood.

  2. Allow time for the wood to be finished (and if with wax - time to dry).

  3. Beat Gently & Mind the Gauge: 5 rows per 1” (2.5mm) of weaving.

Pattern Name Zilver
Designer Lisa Mutch
Material Harrisville Loom Loops 6 Assorted Colors: White, Hydrangea, Lavender, Silver, Pewter, (1) Plum Loop
Loom 7" Regular Size Loom

NOTES

I picked up the loom from my local thrift shop for 85 cents. I considered it a fun find and I ordered 100% cotton loops from the Harrisville Designs website, as well as a replacement plastic crochet hook and a loop color card.

FINAL THOUGHTS

  • I really enjoyed making these. And I loved the colors that I ordered: white, hydrangea, lavender, silver, and pewter.

  • In the future, I think the following additional colors would be a nice addition: ochre, plum, burgundy, and dark navy.
